On Tuesday 12th August, Estée Lauder held a launch event for members of the media and friends of the brand to celebrate the launch of Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Dual Infusion Serum.  Guests were treated to a cocktail reception and presentation, followed by a formal dinner.  The event was held at Bentley Bar & Restaurant in Sydney’s CBD, where Head Chef Brent Savage prepared an exclusive 3 course menu that showcased Black Truffles, the key ingredient in the new Re-Nutriv Serum.

Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Dual Infusion Serum combines Black Diamond Truffle Extract, along with Advanced Lifting Technologies to sculpt and refinish the skin for a visibly younger, more even-toned look. The Black Diamond Truffle Extract is patented exclusively to Estée Lauder and utilizes truffles harvested in the South West of France.

Re-Nutriv is the luxury skincare line for the Estée Lauder brand and given the exclusive positioning of the product, the brand was fortunate to partner with luxury jewelers Cerrone for the evening.  VIP guests, including Kyly Clarke, Terry Biviano and Abby Earl, wore Cerrone jewels at the event and shone brightly all evening.

Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Dual Infusion Serum will be available at selected Estée Lauder counters on the 2nd of November.

The ruby, also known as the stone of romance is one of the highest valued coloured gemstones in the world.  Rubies have been prized for centuries due to their durability and treasured rich red hue and lustre often referred to as ‘pigeon’s blood’.

The most important sources for rubies include Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.
Legend has it, that the owner of a ruby is assured a life of peace and plenty. The vivid red colour of ruby also means that it is associated with desire, and it is thought by some to be a stone of love with an aphrodisiac effect. The ruby has long been attributed with the ability to protect its wearer from injury and to cure blood disorders and circulatory problems. It is also said to provide its wearer with energy, emotional strength, positive attitude, heightened awareness and focus.

Rubies are tough and durable, so they do not require any special care.  Always remove any jewellery or gemstones before exercising, cleaning or engaging in harsh physical activities such as sport. Do not expose rubies to acid and store rubies away from other gemstones to avoid scratches.

Understanding a diamonds characteristics and qualities is very important when making that special purchase.

A method called the '4cs' has been developed to explain the grading system of diamonds - Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat Weight>

If not explained properly, you could be investing unnecessarily. With over 40 year’s experience in the industry, Nicola Cerrone is sharing his tips in order of importance.>

- The cut and colour grade are the most important features to look at when purchasing a diamond.

- The last thing you want is to look down at your diamond and see black spots.  Clarity, which refers to the visibility of blemishes in the diamond should be SI1+ and above

- The round brilliant cut is the most sort after shape of diamond due to its cut and the way it allows the light to shine through, However because of this you will pay a premium.  Be adventurous and different and look at fancy shape diamonds.  They are good value and allows you to be unique.

Above all, do your research but trust your consultant.  As long as you are attracted to the diamond and you love it that is all that matters.
