Trophy design inspired by a classic Hollywood film

With a trophy design inspired by a classic Hollywood film, Royal Randwick's The Championships has turned Sydney's showpiece autumn horse racing carnival into a truly global event. 

The Championships ambassador Francesca Cumani unveiled the 2015 trophy at Cerrone Martin Place yesterday in superb style. 

Designed and created by Cerrone each trophy is valued at $50,000 and contains more than 2000 emeralds along with black and white diamonds. 

The Championships carnival is from 4th - 11th April at Royal Randwick, Sydney.
