Ruby - July Birthstone Jewellery Collection

Ruby carries a story of love and passion all its own. Of all the gemstones, none burns quite so brightly, or speaks quite so honestly to the heart.

On a crisp winter morning, we photographed our new ruby jewellery collection in the garden of a private estate overlooking the water. The air was still, the light low and golden, and the garden itself felt like a scene from another era. Warm sun on red lips, a vintage 1973 Alfa Romeo 105 GTV, and a ruby ring that catches the light with every turn of the wheel — there's a certain romance to the open road, one that belongs as much to the past as it does to this moment.

Why Ruby Is the July Birthstone

Rich, rare and radiant, the July birthstone holds centuries of meaning in every facet. Ancient civilisations believed ruby held the power of life itself, a stone said to burn from within. To wear ruby is to embrace something ancient, something alive — a piece of history set in gold.

The Origins of Ruby: Burma, Mozambique, Sri Lanka and Thailand

From the legendary mines of Burma to the fields of Mozambique, Sri Lanka and Thailand, each ruby bears a unique signature of colour, clarity and character — as individual as the woman who wears it. No two stones are ever quite the same, which is, perhaps, part of ruby's enduring appeal.
